What this website collects
This website does not require an account, does not run advertising trackers, and does not store the contents of the enquiry form. Submitting the enquiry form opens a message in your own email application with the details you entered already filled in; nothing is transmitted to us until you send that message yourself.
Our hosting provider may process standard technical request information, such as IP address and browser type, for the purpose of serving pages and maintaining security. That processing is a normal part of operating any website.
Information you send us by email
When you email the practice, we hold your message and contact details for the purpose of responding and, where an engagement follows, for the purpose of performing the work and meeting professional record-keeping obligations.
What you should not send through this website
Please do not send the following through the website enquiry form or ordinary email:
- Tax identification, national insurance, social security or other government identifiers
- Bank account, card or payment credentials
- Passwords or access credentials for any system
- Financial statements, tax documents, payroll records or other client documentation
How sensitive material is exchanged
Where an engagement requires documents, we agree the method of exchange with you at the outset. That method is confirmed in writing as part of the engagement rather than assumed from a website form.
Retention
Enquiries that do not lead to an engagement are kept only as long as needed to deal with the enquiry. Client records are retained for the period required by the professional and statutory obligations applying to the engagement, which differ by jurisdiction and are set out in the engagement letter.
Your rights
Depending on where you are located, you may have rights to request access to the information we hold about you, to have it corrected, or to have it deleted where no legal or professional obligation requires us to keep it. Write to us to make such a request.
